The Albany Water Polo Club provides an opportunity for the youth to enjoy the exciting sport of water polo. The YMCA has three opportunities for members and nonmembers to participate in Water Polo:
Albany Water Polo Club Team (18U)
AWP Club Team competes against other water polo teams in games and tournaments. Coaches will teach teamwork, good technique, and the tactics of the game helping athletes improve their skills and abilities. AWP Club is for ages 14-18 who can swim. We have both a boys and a girls team.

Albany Water Polo Club - Youth 14 (14U)
AWP 14 & Under is for those wanting to learn the game and have some opportunities to play against other 14 and under athletes. Participants should be able to swim the width of the pool. Coaches will teach all the skills and tactics of the game.

Splashball
Splashball is a fun introduction to water polo. Ages 6-13 can participate. Those who are still learning to swim can use float tubes. Each session participants will learn a skill and then play a game.
- Two sessions: Mar 2-23, 2018 and Apr 6- 27, 2018 .
